Server Settings

Access the system server functions by navigating to [System] then expand [Server Settings].

Here are the items you can find in the server settings.

Function

Description

Activate the License Helps you activate and deactivate SLNX Licenses.
Change the Display Settings Allows you to change how items are displayed in the SLNX such as, Date and Time, Country, Custom Properties, etc.
Server Mobile Device Access Helps you set up the necessary information to allow mobile device access.

Networking

Set of functions that help you configure necessary system settings such as Mail Server, Proxy Server, and many others.

Manage the System Data

Set the how long the system data is stored in the repository. You can also specify the HDD and DB Capacity threshold to notify you when the remaining capacity is met.

Repository Management

Displays the data stored in the repository. When you create a device configuration template such as Firmware and XDP, the packages and resource files are stored in the repository and displayed here.

Device Log Management

You can specify when and how the device logs are gathered. You can also export the device log from here.

Email Addresses

Allows you to add email addresses that you can use as destinations to receive system notifications. See Create a Destination

System Information and Settings

This screen displays the SLNX build information together with the server and security settings. You can also download the Delegation, MIE, and Core logs from here.

Enable Driver Distribution

Allows you to enable driver distribution. When enabled, you can download and install a released driver to a local computer.

Delegation Server Settings

Configure the information of the following features of the delegation server.

  • Authentication

  • Capture

  • Print

  • PC Client

  • Server notifications

  • Security

User Management and Accounting Settings

Helps you configure the user management and accounting system information, such as enabling local authentication, auto-creating of login user, enforcing account limit, enabling cost centers, etc.
