  1. Click [System][Server Settings][Networking].

  2. Make necessary changes then scroll down and click [Save].

Proxy Server

Item Description
Use Proxy Server

Specify whether or not to use a proxy server.

The default is [Off].

Proxy Server Address Enter the address of the proxy server.

Proxy Server Port Number

Enter the port number of the proxy server.

Use Authentication

Specify whether or not to apply user authentication on the proxy server.

The default is [Off].

User Name

Enter the user name to authenticate the proxy server.

Password

Enter the password to authenticate the proxy server.

Domain Name

Enter the domain name you want to use for authentication of the proxy server.

Check Connection

Test the connection using the proxy server.

Use SSL/TLS

Item Description
Use SSL/TLS Specify whether or not to use the SSL port.
SSL Port Configure the SSL port.
Certificate
  • [Disable HTTP]: Select this check box to disable HTTP.

  • [Create CSR] button: Click to open the dialog box to enter [Server Name], [Organization], [State or Province], [Organizational Unit], [City or Locality], and [Country Code].

  • [Install Certificate] button: Select the setting for [Certificate Type] from [Intermediate CA] or [SSL]. Click the [Browse...] button to select the certificate.

    When you select [SSL] and CSR has not been created, a full certificate including the private key is installed. Enter the password to access the private key in [Full Certificate Password].

    For details about the procedure for enabling an SSL connection, refer to Enable SSL.

SSL Client To trust all certificates while operating the system, select the [Trust All Certificates] check box.

Mail Server

This list is populated from the configured mail servers in [System] ® [Mail Servers].

Choose a Mail Server that has been previously defined in the Mail Servers screen. This Mail Server will be used as the primary mail server that will be used to send system emails. Note that IMAP and POP3 configurations are not listed here.

System Alert Notification

Item Description
System Alert Notification Specify whether or not to enable system notifications.
Trigger

Specify whether or not to enable system notifications for the following events.

  • HDD Capacity is Full

  • DB Capacity is Full

  • System Errors

  • Audit Log Failure

  • Delegation Server Communication Error Notification: When selecting this trigger, specify the notification interval in minutes.

To receive a notification on licensing, specify an e-mail address in [Maintenance and Support Email] below.

Input Email Address Manually

Enter the e-mail address of the destination manually.

  • Notify Address: Enter the e-mail address.

  • Language: Select the language to use in the notification e-mail.

Select Destination Select from the destinations registered to [System] → [Notification] → [Destinations].

Enter the e-mail address to which the notification about licensing is to be sent.

  • [Notify Address] Enter the e-mail address.

  • [Language] Select a language used in notification e-mail.

Notification e-mails are sent for the following remaining days: 0, 15, 30, 60 and 90.

Select Destination Select a notification destination from e-mail addresses registered in [System] → [Notification] → [Destinations].

Protocol used for file transfer

Protocol priority

Select from the following HTTP/FTP protocols to use for communicating with devices:

  • HTTP(S) Only: HTTP(S) is used for communicating with devices. If the device does not support HTTP(S)interface, the communication is canceled.

  • FTP/SFTP: Only FTP/SFTP is used for communicating with devices. The behavior can be specified with [FTP/SFTP] below.

  • HTTP(S) Priority: HTTP(S) is used for communicating with devices. If the device does not support HTTP(S) interface or HTTP(S) communication fails, FTP/ SFTP is used instead.

HTTP(S) is only supported by devices with ACT 2.0 enabled.

FTP/SFTP

Select from the following FTP/SFTP protocols to use for communicating with devices:

  • FTP

  • SFTP

  • SFTP Priority

This setting is available only when [Protocol priority] is set to [HTTP(S) Priority] or [FTP/SFTP].

Before selecting [SFTP] or [SFTP Priority], enable SFTP on the device with Web Image Monitor.

SFTP Port

Enter the port number to use when selecting [SFTP] or [SFTP Priority].

The default is 22.
