Notes when executing a configuration task using an embedded application template:
- Before you execute an embedded application template, please configure the SLNX embedded application settings first. Follow the steps to apply the settings in Manage the SLNX Embedded Settings.
- SLNX Embedded Applications cannot be installed on devices without HDD even if they are listed in the table List of Supported Models and Functions.
- SLNX Embedded Applications cannot be managed using RICOH Software Server. Use the "SLNX Embedded Install" template that is registered in the system to install SLNX Embedded Applications.
- If the selected Embedded Application is compatible with Smart Operation Panel models only, the Embedded Application is applied to Smart Operation Panel models and all other models will be skipped.
- When SLNX Embedded Application is installed on RICOH devices 2012 or later without the VM Card option installed, the device does not enter Sleep mode.
- If the available free space on the machine to install an Embedded Application is insufficient, the Embedded Application will not work properly. If error code "277" appears in the task log, delete the Embedded Application that is not necessary from the machine to allocate sufficient free space. If allocating sufficient free space is still not possible, contact your RICOH service representative.
- On 2015 models and later, use the following procedure to check the available free space on the machine:
- Log in to the Web Image Monitor of the machine with the administrator privileges. For details about the login procedure, see the machine's operation manual.
- From the top screen of Web Image Monitor, open the following menu screen:
[Device Management] → [Configuration] → [Extended Feature Settings] → [Administrator Tools]
- Check "Remaining Free Space".
- To execute a template, register the template to a task first. For details, refer to Register a Template to a Task.
