Open the Management Console
On a client computer, navigate from the web browser to the following URL, and check that the login screen of the Management Console is displayed.
- When not using SSL: http://(IP-address-or-hostname-of-Core Server):(port-number)/index.html
- When using SSL: https://(IP-address-or-hostname-of-Core Server):(port-number)/index.html
After installing the Core Server or Delegation Server, install SLNX Enhanced Scan&Capture, which is required when using the following process connectors in the Document Delivery function: PDF Converter, Barcode Division/Recognition, OCR, and Zone OCR. SLNX Enhanced Scan&Capture must be installed in the Core Server and all Delegation Servers. For details, see Install SLNX Enhanced Scan & Capture.
- When the [Run database creation scripts] check box is not selected in Configure the Database and Install, the Management Console cannot be accessed until the database is configured. Configure the database using SQL Server Management Studio.
- When the [Run database creation scripts] check box is not selected in Configure the Database and Install, the RICOH SLNX Central Manager Service is not started automatically.
After installation of the system is completed, the following services are installed according to the installed functions:

- The Delegation Server will be started automatically; however, the Core Server is started automatically only if you opted to configure the database within the installation.
- When using the Send to RightFax connector for delivery service, FaxUtil, the RightFax client software, must be installed on the Core Server or Delegation Server specified as the Configuration Validation Server, as well as on the server used for delivery.
- The printer driver for the MIE server is installed at the same time as the server. The information of the installed printer driver is as follows:
- Printer Name: SLNX Mobile (Internal)
- Driver Name: PCL6 Driver for Universal Print
- Print Processor: winprint
- Port Name: (Not specified)
- When specifying a comma-separated list of Delegation Servers so that the MIE Server can use the failover function, the Delegation Servers must be installed using the same port configuration.
