Configure the Database and Install
This screen appear when installing the Core Server only

On the "Core Server" window, specify the SQL Server address and port number.
- [Address]: Enter the SQL Server address or hostname.When using SSL for communication with the SQL Server, it is recommended to enter FQDN.
- [Port]: Enter the SQL Server port number. The default is 1433.
- [Database Name]: Enter the database name. The default name is "ricoh_slnx".
- Test database for auto-disconnection on idle: When using Microsoft Azure SQL or AWS SQL, specify whether to execute a connection test to the database before performing each SQL query.
- [Run database creation scripts]: Select this option to create the database. Do not select this option in the following cases:
- You are using Microsoft Azure SQL or AWS SQL database
- When installing SQL Server after installing SLNX
- When running the database creation script without using the installer
- When reinstalling SLNX

Click [Next].

Configure the authentication information for connecting to the database.
- [Windows Authentication]: Select this check box to connect to SQL Server using Windows Authentication.
- [SQL Server Authentication]: Enter the user name and password to perform authentication with SQL Server account information.

Click [Next]. When the [Run database creation scripts] check box is selected, database creation starts.

On the "Ready to Install the Program" window, click [Install]. The installation starts.

When installation is completed, click [Finish].
When the [Run database creation scripts] check box is selected, you need to configure the "Database Creation Logon Information" screen first and then proceed to configure the "Database Logon Information" screen. If the [Run database creation scripts] option is not checked, then you only need to configure the"Database Logon Information" screen.
