Release Secure Print Documents

You can select a document to print from the screen of a mobile device and print it from a nearby device. Use any of the following four methods to specify the device to print:

  • Print using QR Code: Print by scanning the QR code assigned to a device.
  • Print using NFC: Hold the mobile device over the NFC tag on the device to print.
  • Print using Device Search: Use a mobile device to search for a discoverable device, and select the device to use for printing.

When you are logged in as a guest user, you cannot print a document from the document list. For details about selecting the login procedure, refer to Mobile App Configuration Settings

You can use the SLNX mobile app on a mobile device to print the following documents stored by the logged-in user:
  • Print documents sent from a computer and stored on a SLNX server For details about storing print documents, refer toSecure Print .
  • Print documents stored in a specified folder of a client computer using SLNX PC Client
  • For details about storing print documents, refer to the SLNX PC Client Operation Guide.
  • Print documents stored on a SLNX server from the printing app of a mobile device. For details about storing print documents, refer to Print From Your Mobile Device.

When the SLNX mobile app is not connected to the server, the print-related applications are grayed out and cannot be used.

  1. On the home screen of the Streamline NX mobile app, press the [Select a Group] button, and select the group that contains the print-related app.

  1. Select [Print using QR Code], [Print using NFC] or [Print using Device Search].

When [Print using NFC] is selected

Hold the mobile device over the NFC tag on the device.

When [Print using Device Search] is selected

  1. In the [Search] field, enter a search keyword or IP address.

  2. From the list of devices displayed in the search results, select the device to use for printing.

  1. On the print document list screen, select the document to print.

A checkmark is displayed next to the selected document.

More than one document can be selected at a time.

To select all documents, press the checkmark at the bottom right of the screen.

  1. Press the Print icon.

  2. When the confirmation message is displayed, press [OK].

  • To use [Print using NFC], the mobile device must support NFC.
  • To delete a document, select the document to be deleted on the print document list screen, and press Delete. When the confirmation message is displayed, press [OK].
