Confirm Job Cost before Printing

This function is available when using the PCL 6 Driver for Universal Print version 4.20 or later.

Depending on the administrator's settings, you can confirm the cost of print jobs and the balance in the notification dialog displayed on the operation panel of the machine before printing.

When the job cost does not exceed the balance, you can select whether to print or cancel the job. When the job cost exceeds the balance, the job is canceled. To make an accurate cost estimation, the printer driver must be configured to use this function. For details, contact your administrator.

This function is not available for laser printers not equipped with a 4.3-inch screen.
