SOP Designer Preferences Template

If you are using SOP Designer to create templates, you can import the template file into the SLNX management console for use as a template. You can then create a task to push the SOP template to target devices.

This function is only supported on On-premise devices. It is not supported on DM Agent-managed devices, because the DM Agent application runs on the SOP, preventing changes to certain SOP items while the DM Agent is active.

Within SOP Designer, save the configuration file in a location accessible from the SLNX management console. You will import the file type .RDT_CFG into the management console to use the configuration file.

1. Click [Configuration] → [Configuration Templates] → [SOP Preferences].

2. Click [Add].

3. Enter the [Template Name] and [Description].

4. Click Choose Path. Locate the saved SOP configuration file (.RDT_CFG format). Only valid files with this file extension can be imported.

5. Click [OK] to import the file, and then click [Save] to save the configuration template.
