Setup Delegation Server Load Balancer Configuration

This screen appears when configuring the DS Server only.

In the "Delegation Server - Load Balancer Configuration" screen, enable the 'Using Load Balancer' checkbox only if you are using a Load Balancer.

If you configure load balancing for the Delegation Server, you must use Print Resilience where all of the Delegation Servers behind the same load balancer share the same Print Resilience database and location. Refer to Create Print Resilience Database for instructions on enabling print resilience.

  1. Specify the following:
    • When using Memcached Cloud:
      • [Memcached Address]: Specify the address of Memcached. It must be resolvable by the Delegation Server that will use Memcached.
      • [Memcached Bucket User]: Specify the user name of Memcached Bucket.
      • [Memcached Bucket Password]: Specify the password of Memcached Bucket.
    • When using Azure Cache for Redis or Amazon ElastiCache for Redis:

      • [Redis Address]: Specify the address of the distributed memory cache system. The address must be resolvable by the Delegation Server that uses the distributed memory cache system.
      • [Use SSL]: Select the check box when using SSL in the distributed memory cache system.
      • [Redis Port]: Specify the port number of the distributed memory cache system.
      • [Redis User]: Specify the user name of the distributed memory cache system bucket.
      • [Redis Password]: Specify the password of the distributed memory cache system bucket.
      • [Use Clustering]: Select the check box when using clustering of the distributed memory cache system.

  1. Click [Next]. The installer will send a request to the configured Redis or Memcached server to ensure a connection can be established. If the connection fails, you will see a notification indicating a failure to connect. If the failure persists, refer to Retry Connection to Redis for instructions.

  2. Click [Next].
