Ethernet

Setting Item

Description

Ethernet Speed

Ethernet communication speed. For normal use, select [Auto Select]. This allows the device to select the optimum speed.

If communication with the device fails, select [100Mbps Full Duplex], [100Mbps Half Duplex], [10Mbps Full Duplex], or [10Mbps Half Duplex].

 

USB

These settings are part of the extended item settings. Refer to List of Extended Item Setting for the complete list.

USB Interface

Select whether to enable the USB function when an optional board for the USB connection is installed on a device.

This function only supports USB type B connectors.

Notification for unsupported USB

Notifies if the connected USB type is not supported.

Wireless infrastructure mode

Select the mode for wireless LAN communication when an optional board for a wireless LAN connection is installed on a device. Options are

  • 802.11 Ad-hoc Mode

  • Infrastructure Mode

  • Direct Connection Group Owner Mode

  • Direct Connection Mode

Wireless network SSID

 Specify the network SSID.

 

WPA

Setting Item

Description

Wireless WPA pre-shared key

Set the WPA pre-shared key.

Click the (Change) button and input the key.

Security

Setting Item

Description

Wireless LAN Security Mode

Set the Wireless LAN Security Mode to one of the following:

  • Inactive

  • WEP

  • WPA

Wireless LAN Settings WPA Encryption Method

Set the encryption method used for Wireless LAN Settings if WPA is selected.

  • TKIP

  • CCMP (AES)
