Overwrite OCR Mode

Select the operation mode of the OCR engine

  • [Balance]: In this mode, the character recognition process is performed while maintaining a balance between the recognition rate and speed

  • [Recognize Rate Priority]: In this mode, priority is given to the recognition rate.

  • [Speed Priority]: In this mode, priority is given to speed.

The default is [Balance].

Overwrite Kerberos Option

An authentication method can be specified for each connector type from the drop-down list.

  • [Use only the ticket received on Kerberos authentication]

Select this option to retry Kerberos authentication when delivery of a scanned job is retried. Retry of Kerberos authentication is not performed when the user is logged in using a PKI smart card.

Changing this setting overwrites the [Kerberos Authentication Retry] setting on the [Capture] tab in [Delegation Server Settings] to the same state.

Hot Folder Profile Displays the Hot Folder Profile that is monitored by the target server.

DB Management tab:

Item

Description

Schedule DB Consistency Check

Specify whether to check the Derby database consistency periodically.

When the Delegation Server detects corruption, it sends a system log to the Core Server as a system error if [System Error] is enabled on the [Server Notifications] tab in [Delegation Server Settings] in [System].

  • [Interval]:  Specify either hours or minutes. The range can be between 1 to 999 hours or from 10 to 999 minutes.

The default is 24 hours or 30 minutes, depending on the selected interval value.

If you set the interval to less than 15 minutes, a warning message pops up indicating that performance could be impacted by the re-curring consistency check. Click OK to clear the warning.

  • [Auto-rebuild]: When this option is selected, if corruption is detected, the database is deleted and the Delegation server is restarted. The corrupt database is rebuilt automatically. If this option is not selected, you must restart the Delegation Server manually to recover.

The Delegation Server may not be able to check consistency or send system logs to the Core Server if the Derby DB is corrupted seriously.

Cache Server tab:

Click [Test connection] to force the Delegation server to perform a cache server connection test.
