Specify Server Information

This screen appears when configuring any server type.

When performing a custom installation with DS, MIE, or SLP, specify the following items according to the function to be installed.

Function	Description
MIE server	On the "Delegation Server" window, specify the address of the Delegation Server connected to the MIE server. [Address]: Enter the IP address or hostname of the Delegation Server. You can specify multiple servers by separating them using a comma. [Use SSL/TLS]: To use SSL to communicate with the Delegation Server, select the [Use SSL/TLS] check box. HTTP port / HTTPS port: Enter the port number to communicate with the Delegation Server. Proceed to install.

MIE server

On the "Delegation Server" window, specify the address of the Delegation Server connected to the MIE server.

[Address]: Enter the IP address or hostname of the Delegation Server. You can specify multiple servers by separating them using a comma.
[Use SSL/TLS]: To use SSL to communicate with the Delegation Server, select the [Use SSL/TLS] check box.
HTTP port / HTTPS port: Enter the port number to communicate with the Delegation Server.

Proceed to install.

For on-site Environment:

Delegation Server (on-premise)	On the "Core Server" window, specify the address of the Core Server connected to the Delegation Server. [Address]: Enter the IP address or hostname of the Core Server. [Use SSL/TLS]: To use SSL to communicate with the Core Server, select the [Use SSL/TLS] check box. HTTP port / HTTPS port: Enter the port number to communicate with the Core Server.
SLP	On the "SLP Configuration" window, specify the scope of the Delegation Server. Scopes are simple strings that are used to group services. Configure the Delegation Server with the same scope that SLNX PC Clients are configured with. SLNX PC Clients cannot find Delegation Servers configured with a different scope. Enter the string to be used by the SLNX PC Client to locate the Delegation Server automatically using the SLP protocol.

Delegation Server (on-premise)

On the "Core Server" window, specify the address of the Core Server connected to the Delegation Server.

[Address]: Enter the IP address or hostname of the Core Server.
[Use SSL/TLS]: To use SSL to communicate with the Core Server, select the [Use SSL/TLS] check box.
HTTP port / HTTPS port: Enter the port number to communicate with the Core Server.

SLP

On the "SLP Configuration" window, specify the scope of the Delegation Server.

Scopes are simple strings that are used to group services. Configure the Delegation Server with the same scope that SLNX PC Clients are configured with. SLNX PC Clients cannot find Delegation Servers configured with a different scope.

Enter the string to be used by the SLNX PC Client to locate the Delegation Server automatically using the SLP protocol.

For Cloud Environment:

Use Proxy Server: Specify whether to use a proxy server when the Delegation Server connects to the Core Server. Proxy Server Setting: This button becomes available when the [Use Proxy Server] check box is selected. Proxy Server Address: Enter the IP address or server name of the proxy server. Proxy Server Port Number: Enter the port number to communicate with the proxy server. Use Authentication: Select the [Use Authentication] check box when proxy authentication is required. Enter the user name and password for proxy authentication.

Proxy Server Setting: This button becomes available when the [Use Proxy Server] check box is selected.
Proxy Server Address: Enter the IP address or server name of the proxy server.
Proxy Server Port Number: Enter the port number to communicate with the proxy server.
Use Authentication: Select the [Use Authentication] check box when proxy authentication is required. Enter the user name and password for proxy authentication.
