Uninstall SLNX PC Client

If you wish to upgrade PC Client from a verison prior to 23R1, use the PCClient Uninstalller tool to perform the silent install and upgrade. The tool is located on the Core Server in the Tools\PCClientSilentUninstaller folder. Run the powershell script: pre23r1_pcclient_uninstall_for_upgrade.ps1. Do not use the silent uninstallation instructions below.

You can uninstall, change, or repair the SLNX 23R1 PC Client as necessary from the Apps and Features applet of Windows. You also have the option to uninstall silently or by executing the setup.exe or MSI directly.

  • Silent Uninstallation: This uninstalls the software by running a command in Command Prompt or running a batch file. No installer window is displayed.
  • Manual Uninstallation: Run the installer and follow the instructions on the installer window.

Uninstallation does not delete the data in the data folder. For a complete uninstall, remove the data folder manually.

Uninstall Silently

The MSI installer uses standard Windows properties only. Use Command Prompt to run the following command, or run the batch file in the following command: 

msiexec /x “Ricoh Streamline NX PC Client.msi”

Uninstall Manually

Follow these steps to uninstall the software from the Windows Control Panel. You can also change the installation without uninstalling the software.

Log on using a user account with Administrator privileges.

Close all running applications, and confirm that there are no print jobs on the computer.

  1. Open Windows [Control Panel] → [Programs] → [Programs and Features].

  2. In the list of programs, right-click [RICOH Streamline NX PC Client].

  3. Select the operation to perform.

  • Uninstall: This uninstalls the software. Click [Next], and continue with the wizard while following the instructions on the screen.

  • Change: This changes or repairs the software settings. To change the connected Delegation Server or when an error occurs and SLNX PC Client is not operating properly, click [Change] or [Repair], and follow the wizard.

  1. When the uninstallation is complete, click [Finish] to close the wizard.

A message prompting you to restart the computer may be displayed after completing uninstallation of SLNX PC Client. In this case, restart the computer.

If you do not restart the computer after uninstalling and then install SLNX PC Client again, SLNX PC Client may not start after restarting the computer at a later time. You can fix the problem by performing Modify installation.

If operations do not improve after the installation is repaired, uninstall the software and install it again.
