Specify the Waiting Time for SLNX PC Client

When the service is not running for any reason, the RICOH Streamline NX (SLNX) PC Client enters standby mode, the icon on the task tray disappears, and all functions are unavailable. If the service does not start in 30 minutes (default), SLNX PC Client automatically shuts down. You can specify the standby time as follows:

  1. Log in to the Management Console using a user account that has all the SysConfigRead, SysConfigWrite, and @RemoteCE Privileges.

  2. Click [System] → [Server Settings] → [Advanced System Settings Editor].

  3. Click [View] → [Delegation Server Settings].

  4. When applying this change to all Delegation Servers, select [Global Settings]. When applying this change to a specific Delegation Server, select the target Delegation Server.

  5. Find the "pcclient.service.startup.wait.minutes" key. If it does not exist, click (Add) and enter "pcclient.service.startup.wait.minutes" in [Key].

  6. Set [Type] to "Number" and specify the standby time in minutes in [Value].

  7. Click (Save).
