Scan Job Encyrption

This system key encrypts job image files using AES256. When a user submits a job to the Delegation Server with this key enabled, the job is encrypted. Add and enable this key to ensure that scan jobs stored in the error queue are encrypted, preventing unauthorized access to sensitive data.

1. Log in to the Management Console using a user account with Customer Engineer privileges.

2. Click [System] → [Server Settings] → [Advanced System Settings Editor]. Clear the warning message if you want to proceed.

3. Click [View] → [Delegation Server Settings].

4. When applying this change to all Delegation Servers, select [Global Settings]. When applying this change to a specific Delegation Server, select the target Delegation Server rather than Global Settings.

5. Click [Add] and then enter "ds.scan.common.ApplicationModules.Utility-sdip.job-encryption.do-encrypt" in the [Key] field.

6. Set [Type] to "Boolean".

7. Set the [Value] to "True".

8. Click [Save].
