Create a Mobile App Workflow

To use the delivery or printing function of secure print documents on a mobile device, create a workflow in the Management Console, and then configure a workflow profile to associate the workflow with a mobile device. This section describes how to configure a workflow profile to be associated with a mobile device.

Proceed to Create a Job Processing Workflow before you complete the instructions below.

You can configure only one workflow profile that is associated with a mobile device on any one SLNX system.

  1. Click [Workflow] ® [Workflow Profile] ®[Profile Configuration] .

  1. Click    (Add).

The [Create Workflow Profile] window is displayed.

  1. In [Profile Name], enter the name of the workflow profile.

  2. In [Description], enter the description of the workflow profile.

  3. In [Input Source], select [Mobile].

  4. Click [OK].

  5. On the [General] tab, configure the profile properties.

  6. On the [Workflows] tab, click (Add Group).

To add a mobile app or workflow to the created group, proceed to Step 12.

  1. On the [Group Properties] window, enter up to 128 characters for the group name.

  2. In [Display], select [Yes] or [No].

When [No] is selected, the group is not displayed on the screen of the mobile device.

  1. Click [OK].

  2. From the group tree, select the group to which to add a mobile app or workflow, and click    (Add a workflow/application).

  3. On the [Add a workflow/application] window, click the [Workflows] or [Mobile Applications] tab.

For details about the tabs, refer to Mobile Input Source Settings.

  1. Select the workflow or mobile app to add, and click [OK].

Select the created workflow or a print-related mobile app ([Print using QR code], [Print Using NFC], or [Print using Device Search]).

  1. From the group tree, select the mobile app or workflow added to the group, and from the properties displayed on the right side, select [Small], [Medium], [Large], or [Extra Large] for the display size of the buttons of the mobile app or workflow on the operation screen of the device.

  1. Click (Save) on the workflow list.

  2. Configure the profile task, associate the profile with a Delegation Server, and sync the profile settings.
