Configure the Guest Printing Option

If guest printing is required, you must enable the option in the Management Console

  1. Click [System] ⟶ [Server Settings] ⟶ [Mobile Device Access].

  1. Click [System] → [Security] → [User Accounts].

  2. Create a local SLNX user account named ‘guestuser’ to process emails.

If you prefer to use a different account name, you can rename the default SLNX User Management local account ‘guestuser’. Click [System] ⟶ [Server Settings] ⟶ [Advanced System Settings Editor], and then filter for ds.auth.guest.name).  Note that you can only perform this rename if you have logged into the Management Console with a Customer Engineer role.

The local SLNX user account and the ds.auth.guest.name account name must match.
