Install SLNX Performance Monitor
Install the Streamline NX Performance Monitor Dashboard on a server machine as a Windows service.
The Performance Monitor will run under a domain account that has privileges to the WMI performance monitor counters of the Core and DS server machines.
Running the installer will give you the following options.

New Installation – Choose this option to install the Streamline NX Performance Monitor Dashboard software. Ensure that the software does not exist on the machine or was previously uninstalled.

Modify Installation – Choose this option to update the options of the installation with new values for:

Core Server connection settings

Account for authenticating against the Core Server
-

Repair existing installation – Choose this option to replace files on disk with new copies but will not modify any settings.

Remove – Choose this option to remove the Streamline NX Performance Monitor Dashboard software.
The Streamline NX Performance Monitor Dashboard will allow for the following install types:
Install the performance monitor manually

Run the installer.

Select the language you want to use.

In the welcome screen, click (Next).

Read the software license agreement, then select “I accept the terms in the license agreement”, then click (Next).

Select the [Destination Folder], then click (Next). A folder is selected by default.

Specify the [Server Login Information] account, then click (Next).
The name of the account under which the service will run.
You must use an account that has privileges to the WMI performance monitor counters of the Core and DS server machines. Please contact your IT Administrator if your account has not yet been added to the domain.

Set the SSL and Port in [Web Server], then click (Next).
By default, the [User SSL/TLS] is unchecked, and the port number is 8081.
If you opt to use SSL, the default port number is 443.

In the [Core Server] screen, input the following.
Item Name Description Server Name or IP Address Enter the IP address or the host name of the SLNX Core server. Server Port Specifies the port on which to connect to the Core server.
Default values are:

No SSL: 8080
-
SSL: 51443
Use SSL/TLS Specifies whether to use SSL when connecting to Core.
By default, this option is unchecked.
Trust all Certificate Specifies if when using SSL to connect to Core, to trust any certificate that Core provides.
If unchecked, certificate validation will be done.
By default, this option is unchecked.

Click (Next).

Specify the [Streamline Administrator Account], then click (Next).
Please provide an SLNX administrator account. The credentials you provided will be used to connect to the Core server. If the account does not exist in SLNX User Accounts or the authentication fails, an error message is displayed, and the performance monitor will not work.

Click (Install).

Make sure the installation is successful, then click (Finish) to close the installer.
