Energy reduction STR mode transition

Set this option to either On or Off.

The Energy Saver Mode (STR mode) transition involves various states and behaviors depending on the device model and specific configurations:

  • Energy Saver Mode to Ready: Some functions in SLNX can change the device status from Energy Saver Mode to Ready. For example, executing the task "Check - Emb App Install" can wake up the device, although there are exceptions based on the model and type of Energy Saver Mode.
  • Types of Energy Saver Modes: Different models may have different types of Energy Saver Modes, such as Panel Off, Silent Mode, Low Power Mode, and Engine Off Mode. Each mode has specific behaviors regarding whether the device stays in Energy Saver Mode or transitions to Ready.

Behavior of Energy Saver Modes:

  • Panel Off Mode: The device stays in Energy Saver Mode with the panel off and does not transition to Ready.
  • Silent Mode: The device can transition to Ready, turning the panel on.
  • Low Power Mode: The device can transition to Ready, turning the panel on.
  • Engine Off Mode: The device can transition to Ready, turning the panel on.
  • Error Handling: If a device is in Energy Saver Mode and an error occurs, such as error code 206, the solution is to disable Energy Saver Mode on the target device.

These transitions and behaviors are essential for managing energy consumption while ensuring the device is ready for use when needed.
