Log Collection

Specify whether or not to delete all the log data on the device.

Specify whether or not to activate the log transfer setting.

Encrypts the data transfer of the device log. To encrypt transfer, enable the SSL settings of the system. For details, refer to Enable SSL.

To save a log to a device securely, configure the settings to encrypt and save the log on the device.

Collects the device job log.

Select the configuration method of the Device Job Log.

• [All]: All items in [Collection Type] are selected.

• [Custom]: Select the items to check from [Collection Type].

When selecting [Custom], select [Collection Type] from the following:

• [Copy]

• [Scanner]

• [Document Box]

• [Printer]

• [Fax]

• [Report]

Specify whether or not to enable the Device Access Log. Select the configuration method of the Device Access Log.

• [All]: All items in [Collection Type] are selected.

• [Custom]: Select the items to check from [Collection Type].

When selecting [Custom], select [Collection Type] from the following:

• [Authentication]

• [Document Operation]

• [Invalid Scan]

• [Administrator Operation]

• [Log Transfer Setting]

• [Capture]

• [Communication / Attack Verification]

• [Validity Check]

• [Address Book Operation]

• [Device Configuration]

Specify whether to synchronize all Image Log Capture settings with devices.

Specify whether to enable the Image Log Capture function.

• On

  Image Log Capture is enabled.

• Off

  Image Log Capture is disabled.

• Off(Delete Untransferred Documents)

  Image Log Capture is disabled, and the image logs transferred from devices are deleted. This option is not available for RICOH models released in 2007. If [Off(Delete Untransferred Documents)] is selected, the behavior is the same as when [Off] is selected.

Specify the IP address of the Delegation Server to be used as the Capture server. Only IPv4 format is available.

Specify the protocol of the Delegation Server to be used as the Capture server. Select [https] if the Delegation Server uses SSL protocol. Otherwise, select [http].

Specify the IP address of the secondary Delegation Server to be used as the Capture server. Only IPv4 format is available.

[Secondary Capture Server Address] cannot be specified for RICOH models released in 2007.

Specify the port number of the secondary Delegation Server to be used as the Capture server.

Specify the protocol of the secondary Delegation Server to be used as the Capture server. Select [https] if the Delegation Server is configured for SSL. Otherwise, select [http].

Specify whether to set the default capture resolution for each function (Copy, Document Server, Sent Fax, Print, and Scanner).

• Use default value

  The image log is captured in the default resolution specified for each device.

• Use application setting

  The image log is captured in the resolution specified for each function (Copy, Document Server, Sent Fax, Print, and Scanner) below.

Resolution setting is not available for RICOH models released in 2007. The image log is captured in the default resolution specified for each device.

Specify whether to synchronize the Capture settings for Copy function with devices.

Select a resolution for capturing the color image log of copied images.

Available resolutions are:

600dpi, 400dpi, 300dpi, 200dpi, 150dpi, 100dpi, 75dpi

Select a resolution for capturing the B&W image log of copied images.

Available resolutions are:

600dpi, 400dpi, 300dpi, 200dpi, 150dpi, 100dpi, 75dpi

Specify whether to synchronize the Capture settings for the Document Server function with devices.

Select whether to specify the capture settings for the Document Server function.

Specify whether to synchronize the Capture settings for Sent Fax with devices.

Select whether to specify Capture settings for sent faxes.

When you select [On], capture resolution settings become available.

Select a resolution for capturing the color image log of sent faxes. Available resolutions are:

600dpi, 400dpi, 300dpi, 200dpi, 150dpi, 100dpi, 75dpi

Select a resolution for capturing the B&W image log of sent faxes. Available resolutions are:

600dpi, 400dpi, 300dpi, 200dpi, 150dpi, 100dpi, 75dpi

Select whether to specify the Capture settings for the Scan function.

When you select [On], the capture resolution settings become available.

Select a resolution for capturing the color image log of scanned images.
