ACT 2.2

RICOH Always Current Technology allows you to easily update your device software to benefit from the latest functionality and features.

Enable them using the following conditions.

  • When a higher ACT version is enabled, the ACT versions below it will also be enabled. This entails that when the higher ACT version is supported, the lower versions are also supported.

So, when ACT 2.0 is enabled, ACT 1.1 and 1.2 is also enabled while 2.1, 2.11, and 2.2 remain disabled.

  • When a lower ACT version is disabled, the higher ACT becomes disabled too. This indicates that higher versions will not be supported if the lower version is disabled.

So, if all ACTs are enabled from ACT 1.1 to ACT 2.2, but you decide to disable ACT 2.0, the ACT 2.1, 2.11, and 2.2 are disabled too. Meanwhile, the ACT 1.1 and 1.2 remain enabled.

ACT Auto Activation If enabled and there is a new version, the device will upgrade to the newest version.
