Upload Embedded Files to SLNX Configuration Template

To push the appropriate files to the MFPs, you must first create an embedded application template within SLNX. You require local access to upload the correct card manager files (PIV, Gemato or CAC/PIV) to the embedded application template. The SLNX embedded zip file includes the card manager files and also includes CAC/PIV add-ons. You will upload the entire zip file to a Configuration Template.

In a later step, you will create separate tasks to install the template on the MFPs.

1. Login to Streamline NX. You must login with Device Administrator privileges to perform this task.

2. Click [Configuration] ® [Configuration Templates] ® [Embedded Applications].

3. Click [Add]. 

4. Enter a unique name for the [Template Name] and [Description].

5. From the Application Source drop-down list, select [Local File], and then select [Upload New File to Repository].  Upload options will appear.

6. Click [Choose Files] and then select the embedded application file: SLNX_Embedded_CAC_PIV_x.xxx.x.x.zip

7. Click [Upload] and then wait until the upload process is complete.

8. Click [OK] to close the window.
